Our company, like many chemical companies, does not make products that are sold directly to consumers, so our name may not be familiar to most people. 

We are Albemarle, a global leader in specialty chemistry solutions used by manufacturers of plastics, polymers, electronics and other materials that often require flame retardant solutions.  We also produce catalysts for the oil and gas industry, active pharmaceuticals ingredients and many other specialty chemicals for commercial, industrial and consumer products.
